We're taking registrations for upcoming classes now!
Ten weekly (or 9 weeks for Spring Session), 45-minute classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. 1 CD, 1 Digital Download Code and a Colorful Music Book are included! New Music Every Session
Mixed-Aged (babies-5 years) - Children and their adults have opportunities to create and improvise making up new words to songs, offering movement ideas, making silly sounds, and sharing musical ideas from the family's play at home. The relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented classroom setting respects and supports the unique learning styles, developmental levels, and temperaments of all participants, creating a strong sense of community. We will explore instruments, drums and various forms of movement together.
Intro to Music (8 mo's and under) - Is a more laid back approach to our regular Mixed-Aged classes and is just for babies 8 mo's and under. We talk about musical milestones while we make music with and for our babies. Developmentally appropriate instruments and activities just for baby, along with tips to take home for the parents and/or caregivers who love them. After one semester babies may be ready to move up to the mixed-age class. The music activites in this class are specifically designed to teach parents how ot support music development in infancy and how to connect with their infants through music using concept like "purposeful touch", "sound layering" and "dancing with or for baby".
